Furniture Redux

My fiance and I just bought our first house, and with it came a new found hobby for me — refinishing furniture!
I got 2 Ethan Allen pieces from my grandmother, and went to town on them.
The first is going to be our TV Stand. I’m still looking for a “before” picture of this—this as “before” as I can get for now. It was a dark brown stain, had 2 doors in the middle that we removed, and 2 very decorative doors on the sides that we removed the spindle decorations from.

I sanded the piece with a belt sander, and primed it with an alchohol primer

And here it is *almost* done (I just have to attach the new door knobs to it)

Here is the second piece, an Ethan Allen hutch. It was in very nice condition, but the brown wood just didn’t “go” with the room it was to be in. It also had a wire “diamond” accent on all the glass, which I promptly removed.

Same deal here—sanding (looooots of sanding), priming, and 2 coats of paint, and you have this!

I’ve had these Mickey knobs for some time now, and I was so excited to get to use them!
